Individual swine identification is now a legal requirement.

On sending an animal for slaughter the pig must have either a tattoo slap mark, a metal ear tag or a plastic heat resistant ear tag.

The slap marker must be applied to each front shoulder area and be clearly legible with the herd mark and animal number. The slap marker does not require a UK prefix.

Our slap marker kit is the market leader and comes complete with Slap Marker, fitted with 6 dies (6 digits i.e. AB1234) and one 1 once tube of Black Tattoo Paste.
1 litre of ink and an inking box is available as a separate kit.
