ELECTRONIC ID

Electronic ID provides the basis for automated data collection on individual animals, it is synonymous with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).

The official cattle ID tags are available in white only and the sheep tags are available in yellow. Management tags can be any colour.

The tags, which are 30mm in diameters, are supplied singularly and can be applied using a single shot applicator.

The lightweight tag is supplied singularly and is applied as a 2 piece tag with various printing options. The FDX(B) transponder chip is located in the female tag. The tag has an excellent read range from any orientation.
